The Association of Anglican Musicians publishes vacancy notices on this website as a service to its members and to churches seeking a musician. Members may view active listings below:

Musicians Called to Serve

Typically, a music search committee chair or member has limited experience in the process of selecting musicians to serve in their church; and that possibly applies to the clergy of the church, as well. Therefore, before requesting that your available position be included in our Placement Listing, we highly encourage you to read our free book, Musicians Called to Serve: A Handbook for the Selection, Employment, and Ministry of Church Musicians. In it is a wealth of information meant to guide you in the process of calling a musician.

Submit a Listing

When you're ready to submit your listing, please complete the Placement Listing Request Form. You may choose between a one-month listing ($100) and a three-month listing ($200). You may also feature your listing in our semi-monthly e-mail to all AAM members for an additional $50.

Please only include brief job descriptions in the listing, not full ones. We publish listings in paragraph form with a limit of 2500 characters (about 400 words).

Before a listing for an open position can be published, you must consent to the following AAM Placement Policy:

In accordance with our Baptismal Covenant, the Association of Anglican Musicians strives to respect the dignity of every human being. We expect that employers using our Placement Office agree to consider applicants for employment without reference to race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexuality, disability, or age, except insofar as personal characteristics directly affect individuals’ capacity to exercise their vocation.

Upon submission of the Request Form, we prefer immediate online payment via credit card. However, we will also accept a check, made payable to:
